Within the scope of the “One Child, One Future, Together Türkiye” project carried out by the MÜSİAD Construction and Building Materials Sector Board, the opening of 2 computer laboratories provided to Hakkari Atatürk Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was held.
The opening program was held with the participation of MÜSİAD Head Office members, Vice President Abdulkadir Çınar, Sector Boards Chairman Cemal Özen and Construction and Building Materials Sector Board Chairman Ömer Kandemir. The Governor of Hakkari, the Provincial Director of National Education and leading business people of the region also took part in the program.
At the program, which was held with the strong support of Hakkari business people as well, not only physical investments but also social sensitivity came to the fore.
One of the most meaningful moments that marked the opening was the activity organized for the students studying in the special education class within the scope of 2 April Autism Awareness Day. While the students were presented with signed jerseys of the teams they support, a cake was cut together in order to raise awareness.
Within the scope of the program, a meeting was also held with the students in the school's conference hall for the sharing of experience and for motivation. At the meeting, in which the students showed great interest, important messages on education, goal setting and the career journey were shared.
The regional program of the MÜSİAD Construction and Building Materials Sector Board will continue in Van on 3 April. Within the scope of the program to be held hosted by the MÜSİAD Van Branch, meetings will be held with the business people of the region on developing trade.
This program stands out as a concrete reflection of MÜSİAD's approach of contributing to education in every region of Türkiye, acting with a sense of social responsibility and supporting regional development.
A Meaningful Touch to Autism Awareness Day in Hakkâri: Unforgettable Moments for Special Children
Within the scope of the program held by the MÜSİAD Construction and Building Materials Sector Board in Hakkari, a meaningful activity was organized for special education students on the occasion of 2 April Autism Awareness Day. The Governor of Hakkari, the MÜSİAD Vice President and the Sector Boards Chairman also accompanied the event and gave their support to the Construction and Building Materials Sector Board Chairman.
At the program held at Hakkari Atatürk Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, time was spent one-to-one with the students studying in the special education class and their happiness was shared.
At the event, while signed jerseys prepared according to the teams the students support were presented to them as gifts, a cake was cut together as a memento of this meaningful day. They thanked the players of the Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Beşiktaş and Trabzonspor teams for signing the jerseys one by one for this meaningful event.
The MÜSİAD delegation taking part in the program emphasized that taking a close interest in special children and touching their world should not be limited to a single awareness day.
While the MÜSİAD Construction and Building Materials Sector Board expressed that it aims to continue such social responsibility work by increasing it, it underlined that every step that touches the lives of special children is the most valuable investment made in the future of society.
