MÜSİAD held the “Supplier Day Event”, which it organized in cooperation with TUSAŞ, at the MÜSİAD Head Office with the participation of TUSAŞ Chairman of the Board of Directors Ömer Cihad Vardan.
A total of 259 companies came together at the program, which contributes to cooperation in the defence industry and to the development of production capacity. Within the scope of the event, 186 B2B meetings were held with 188 suppliers, laying the foundations of new collaborations among the companies.
At the program, the goals of increasing domestic production capacity, strengthening a sustainable industrial approach and developing high value-added projects came to the fore. The participating companies made important contacts regarding collaborations that will increase the localization rate in the defence industry.
In the assessment made by MÜSİAD it was stated that the organization in question offered an important program strengthening sectoral collaborations, while thanks were extended to all participating companies, above all TUSAŞ Chairman of the Board of Directors Ömer Cihad Vardan who contributed to the event, and to the members of the MÜSİAD Defence Industry Sector Board, the Metal and Mining Sector Board and the Machinery Sector Board who worked on it, and to all stakeholders.
