Prof. Dr. Kemal Can, Head of the Textile and Fashion Design Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, was visited by the MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board.
At the visit that was held, topics directed towards strengthening university–private sector cooperation were addressed, above all the “Timeless Heritage Fashion Design Competition” developed by the Board.
Within the scope of the visit, the historical, conceptual, formal and material production dimensions of the project in question were assessed, and the fields of work relating to the scope of the competition and its implementation process were discussed. As a result of the consultations held, a road map relating to the project framework was determined and agreement was reached between the parties on a framework program.
