The May-June 2021 issue of Çerçeve, the business world and current economy magazine prepared by the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD), has been published once again with its packed content.

In the new issue of Çerçeve Magazine, prepared under the coordination of the MÜSİAD Economic and Social Infrastructure High Board and the Media and Culture Economies Committee, the cover topic was determined as “The EU Green Deal Is an Important Opportunity for Türkiye's Sustainable Development” and the steps Türkiye will take with regard to the European Union Green Deal were examined.

The file topic, for its part, is “With Its Present and Its Future: Türkiye's Nuclear Adventure”. Under this heading, while the point nuclear energy has reached in the world is touched upon, the work launched in the field of nuclear energy in Türkiye and the point targeted in this field in the future are addressed in detail. In this file study, the article titled “Türkiye's Nuclear Adventure” by Adil Buyan, General Coordinator of the Nuclear Technology (Nükte) Platform, and the MÜSİAD Mining, Energy Management and
Investments Committee Chairman Dr. Cihad Terzioğlu together with Young MÜSİAD Energy Management, Efficiency and Mining Committee Chairman Abdurrahim Metin, who co-wrote the article “The Contribution of Nuclear Energy to Sustainability and the Case of Türkiye”, have taken their place in the file with their articles.

Another content of the magazine, for its part, was the interview conducted with MÜSİAD President Abdurrahman Kaan, which featured his assessments regarding the past, present and future of participation finance. The Çerçeve team was also a guest on the set of the Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu series, which has been followed with interest of late, and talked about all the processes of the series with Producer-Director Emre Konuk.

Alongside this, the magazine features the article titled “Azerbaijan-Türkiye Economic and Commercial Relations, Investment Perspectives in Karabakh” by Orhan Memmedov, Chairman of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in which he touches on the important investment supports and opportunities in the region on the subject of Türkiye-Azerbaijan economic and commercial cooperation, which has entered a new era with the liberation of Karabakh.

Prof. Dr. Murat Yülek of OSTİM Technical University wrote an article under the heading “The World Economy and Company Strategies”. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Berrin Kalsın, faculty member of İbn Haldun University, shared with Çerçeve readers her views on transforming forms of communication and the new digital era of education, the participation of students in the labour force in the communication sector, and the future of communication faculties in the new digital world.

Mahmut Güngör, General Manager of Bereket Insurance, Bereket Pension and Bereket Takaful, conveyed to the magazine the working structure of Bereket Takaful, his perspectives on the past, present and future of participation finance and participation insurance, and his assessments regarding the growth and developments in the sector. Conveying important information especially about the takaful system in which their companies have found a place as a pioneer in the sector, Güngör shared his expectations regarding the future of this sector.

The detailed report in which Türkiye's National Space Program is examined in all its aspects was one of the prominent contents of the new issue. Petra, one of the most popular tourism spots in the Middle East, was examined through the eyes of a traveller and recommendations were included for those who wish to visit. On the other hand, the projects and organizations MÜSİAD has carried out in order to make a greater contribution to the country's economy were also included.
