The conclusion items announced after the program are as follows:

  1. Electric Transport Vehicles Will Continue to Grow Rapidly: Although the West is giving signals of a slowdown in transport electrification, the electric transport vehicles sector will continue to grow rapidly in the near future under the leadership of multinational companies. Electric, interconnected, autonomous vehicles — that is, shared vehicle applications managed by artificial intelligence and used without owning a vehicle — will become widespread. As Türkiye we too must continue to invest in this field.
  2. Hydrogen Fuel Technology Will Become Widespread in the Coming Years: Hydrogen fuel technology will play an important role in the automotive sector in the future. Hydrogen technology will reduce dependence on fossil fuels and, by lowering carbon emissions, will contribute to our building a greener industry. We expect that hydrogen technology, by becoming widespread first of all in large commercial vehicles in the coming years, will give direction to the transport sector, and that the subject of hydrogen fuel will come before us intensively. Within this scope, as Türkiye we must seriously begin work in this field.
  3. The Automotive Sector Must Keep Pace Rapidly With the Transformation: In order for the competitive structure of the Turkish automotive sector to be sustained, it must keep pace rapidly with this transformation. It is important above all that production functions be freed from labour costs by means of automation tools and that the products and services developed be integrated with our software development capabilities.
  4. The Infrastructure Investments Required for the Transformation in Energy Must Be Made: The transformation process in energy is occupying the agenda of developed countries in an extremely rapid manner. Within this scope, reducing the use of fossil fuels, developing electricity transmission and distribution infrastructures, and making the infrastructure investments required for the electrification of transport are complex and require high budgets. Within this scope, infrastructure investments should be made through and by means of state planning, or by the state-supported private sector.
  5. Legal Regulation and Simplification of Legislation Must Be Carried Out in the Field of Renewable Energy: Many legal regulations are being implemented in our country in order to spread renewable energy sources. Within this scope, legal regulation and the simplification of legislation appear to be the priority target of the public side in order to accelerate investments.
  6. There Are Investment Opportunities in the Fields of E-Fuel, Hydrogen and Energy Storage: The subjects of e-fuel, hydrogen and energy storage are expected both to gain a cost advantage and to be incentivized in the period ahead. Accordingly, it will be right for investors and business people to take action in order to adapt to this transformation.
