The third book of the Business and Management series, “Institutionalization in Family Companies”, has been published under the coordination of the MÜSİAD Education, Culture and Publications Commission.
The book, written by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meral Erdirençelebi, faculty member at Necmettin Erbakan University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akif Çini, faculty member at Selçuk University, offers a perspective on the transformation of family businesses and especially on the concept of the family constitution. Understanding the concept of the “Family Constitution” — a written set of rules that makes it possible to identify and diagnose the potential problems within the family itself and those concerning the legal entity, and to produce solution proposals for them, in pursuing the family mission and strategic goals in business life — emerges as one of the book’s fundamental aims.
