Within the scope of the High School Sponsorship project carried out by the MÜSİAD Sector Boards Commission, the Construction and Building Materials Sector Board opened a computer laboratory for Bağcılar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, whose sponsorship it has undertaken, in order to develop the technical facilities available to the students.
Speaking at the opening held with the participation of Bağcılar District Governor Abdullah Uçgun, Bağcılar District Director of National Education Mehmet Sansar and members of the Construction and Building Materials Sector Board, Cemil Yüksekdağ used the following expressions: “As MÜSİAD, with our 14 thousand members who possess national and spiritual values, we provide services in Türkiye and all over the world through our broad organizational structure for the development of our country. Within this framework, in order to support vocational education and to create awareness on this matter, we establish cooperation with vocational high schools. With the protocol we signed at the beginning of the year with Bağcılar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, our fundamental aim is to develop the technical facilities available to our high school students and, together with this, to guide them, to act as their sponsor, and to prepare them for working life through activities such as experience-sharing programmes, workplace tours and internship opportunities.”
A plaque was presented by Bağcılar District Governor Abdullah Uçgun to Cemil Yüksekdağ, who completed his remarks with the words, “On this occasion I also celebrate the 24 November Teachers' Day of our teachers who have contributed to our upbringing, and I pray for God's mercy upon all our teachers who have passed on to eternity.”
After the opening ceremony of the Computer Laboratory, an experience-sharing programme was organized. In the programme, in which professional and life experiences were recounted, Sector Board members Sadıkoğlu Architecture Chairman of the Board Haluk Sadıkoğlu and Mental Design and Project Development Chairman of the Board Muhammed Salih Çıkman delivered their speeches addressing the students.
The programme concluded with a family photograph.
