The “VISIONARY Summit”, organized every two years by MÜSİAD, Türkiye's largest and most widespread capital platform on a global scale, opens its doors for the 3rd time on 27 November 2019 with the theme “The Digital Future”. At the summit, which will be held with the participation of leading experts, academics and business people from Türkiye and around the world, current technological work and the social and economic changes brought (by the development of) technology will be addressed comprehensively. At the summit, the Head of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office Ali Taha Koç and the Head of the Presidential Investment Office Arda Ermut, will share their assessments regarding Türkiye's technology moves.

 

MÜSİAD, which continues its work with a human-oriented vision of high added value and national production, has determined the subject of this year's Visionary19 Summit as “The Digital Future” in order to draw attention to the technological developments taking place in the world.

 

Believing that Türkiye's becoming a country that has a say in its region and plays an effective role on a global scale is directly related to technological independence and sustainable economic development, MÜSİAD aims to create awareness at the social level in this field by hosting the names that shape technology at the Visionary19 Summit.

 

At the summit to be held at the Haliç Congress Centre, the subjects of ”The Digital Economy and the Future of Money”, “National Industry and Production in the Global Market” ,“The Digital Ecosystem of Trade”, “Cities and Resources of the Future”, “The National Technology Initiative and Digital Türkiye” and ‘’Our Values in the Digital Future’’ will be addressed comprehensively in 6 different sessions.

 

At the summit, the Head of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office Ali Taha Koç, the Head of the Presidential Investment Office Arda Ermut, Mindmaze Artificial Intelligence Technologies Leader Martin Ciupa and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global Resources Partnership Mehmet Öğütçü foremost among them; many names that are pioneers in their fields will take part as speakers.

 

Visionary Programs Set Türkiye's National Strategies in Motion

 

Making an assessment on the subject, MÜSİAD President Abdurrahman Kaan stated that the Visionary programs guide Türkiye's national strategies and action plans. Emphasizing that the Visionary Summit first began to be held in 2015 and will be held for the 3rd time this year, Kaan noted that the subjects “Doing Business with the Future” and “A New Türkiye in a Changing World” were examined in previous periods, and that this year, in parallel with those subjects, the theme “The Digital Future” will be addressed. Expressing that the world has entered a rapid change with digital and technological developments affecting every sector and that it is pregnant with many innovations in the political, economic and cultural sense in the near future, Kaan emphasized that Türkiye's keeping up with these developments is important in terms of its successfully carrying out the National Technology Initiative and being a country that has a say in the future.
