The 106th MÜSİAD General Administrative Board was held in Konya between 17 and 19 June. Within the scope of the programme organized under the theme of the Green Transformation Economy, the internal consultation meetings of the organization and of the sector boards were also held. The Printing, Publishing and Media Sector Board, one of MÜSİAD’s first sector boards and the spokesperson of the sector with its dynamic structure, came together at the Selçuklu Congress Centre with the participation of MÜSİAD Vice President Mehmet Develioğlu.

Printing, Publishing and Media Sector Board Chairman Ömer Karatemiz, who delivered the opening speech of the meeting, informed the participants about the work carried out. Emphasizing that the door of the Head Office is open to everyone, Karatemiz stated that those with criticism, suggestions and projects can always reach them. Referring to their wish to cooperate with the branches, Karatemiz added that they have begun work on a summit programme during the year at which solution proposals for sectoral problems will be presented. MÜSİAD Konya Branch Board Member Ulvi Yıldırım, who took the floor after Ömer Karatemiz, said that they were delighted to host an important organization. Thanking the participants, Yıldırım said that the outputs to be obtained from the consultation meetings are important in terms of the value they will add to the solution of sectoral problems and to the vision of the future.

Vice President Mehmet Develioğlu, thanking everyone who contributed to the event in the persons of Ömer Karatemiz and Ulvi Yıldırım, shared his assessments about MÜSİAD’s values and its general activities.

The programme continued with the other participants introducing themselves and with speeches on sectoral expectations. Topics such as the raw material shortage experienced in the sector, export opportunities, e-exports and the development of trade among members were among the prominent headings.
