The Livestock Sector Assembly meeting organized under the leadership of the MÜSİAD Agriculture, Food and Livestock Sector Board was held with the broad participation of the sector's leading representatives. At the meeting, the current state of the sector, the problems encountered and strategies for the future, above all the security of animal protein supply, were addressed comprehensively.
With the contributions of academics who are experts in their fields, sector representatives, producer associations and members of the media, views were exchanged on sustainable production, cost pressures, feed supply, livestock policies and current developments in the sector.

Participants drew attention to the importance of cooperation and coordination so that the sector may attain a stronger and more competitive structure. At the end of the meeting, it was stated that the assessments and proposals obtained would be shared with the relevant institutions and stakeholders and that work would continue towards taking concrete steps for the sector.
