“We are excited and proud”

Speaking at the gong ceremony of the Independent Private Venture Capital Investment Fund, MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı said: “The work we launched in line with the long-standing demand from our members has been completed. This fund, created with the capital collected, means investing in Türkiye’s future. Today, as MÜSİAD, we are very excited and proud. Praise be to God, we have completed a fine piece of work and now it is time to reap its fruits.”

Asmalı continued his remarks as follows:

“We are delighted to announce that the Independent Private Venture Capital Investment Fund, whose units are sold only to the members of our association, has begun trading. In this fund, in which MÜSİAD members combine their capital, we will include significant ventures with the potential for rapid growth and value creation. As is known, MÜSİAD has a very great potential. With the strong network it has built at home and abroad, it is in a position to reach many places. Our expert teams will examine these investment areas, which comprise many sectors, and announce them to our investors. With this fund, whose activities and working system have been prepared in line with the principles of Participation Finance, we aim to combine our members’ capital and establish large investments. As MÜSİAD, we will enable investment in ventures and bring the returns obtained from the investments to the investors themselves. As we said when we started this work, we will walk towards a joint and sound commercial goal with both our investor members and our entrepreneur members. I believe that this investment fund, which we have established with our own capital in an environment where access to finance is difficult, will continue to develop and grow much further with the investments it will make and the support it gives to young people. May our venture capital investment fund be auspicious for our country and for our MÜSİAD.”
