Hundreds of MÜSİAD members from all over Türkiye came together at the program, which was held with the participation of AK Party Deputy Chairman Numan Kurtulmuş and Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Nurettin Nebati.

President Abdurrahman Kaan attended the iftar program organized by the National Will Platform, which was formed with the participation of Türkiye's leading NGOs, including MÜSİAD. Speaking at the iftar program held with the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Kaan pointed out that MÜSİAD has always stood by democracy, by what is right and by its nation. Moving at an intense pace throughout the Month of Ramadan, President Abdurrahman Kaan attended iftar and sahur programs all across the country. Coming together with MÜSİAD members in many cities, primarily Ankara, Rize, Trabzon, Muğla, Erzurum, Sakarya, Eskişehir, İnegöl, İzmir, Mersin and Adana during the Month of Ramadan, President Kaan held consultations with our branch representatives in Anatolia.

The Traditional Sahur Program organized every year by Young MÜSİAD was held this year at the MÜSİAD Head Office with the theme "Loyalty to the Covenant". Attendance at the program, which was held with the participation of members who have served on the Young MÜSİAD Board of Directors since its foundation, was quite high.

The Month of Ramadan was observed intensively with iftar programs held at 86 different locations by our branches in Anatolia.

As Every Year, MÜSİAD Was a Ray of Hope for Those in Need This Year as Well

MÜSİAD, which sees capital not as an end but as a means on the path of serving humanity, became a ray of hope for people in need throughout the Month of Ramadan. The Zimem Ledger practice, inherited from the Ottomans and today on the verge of being forgotten, was revived by our branches in Anatolia. Through the practice carried out all over Türkiye, primarily in Konya, Trabzon, Tekirdağ and Şırnak, the credit (Zimem) ledgers of the grocers in the region were purchased and the debts of the debtors were paid.

Continuing its aid work, MÜSİAD also extended a helping hand to the oppressed citizens in the Silopi district of Şırnak, which suffered great destruction as a result of the “trench” policy of the terrorist organization PKK. The food parcels prepared with the donations of Head Office members were distributed to our citizens in Silopi. In addition, holiday clothing aid was provided to the children of the region with the contributions of MÜSİAD High Board Chairman Ahmet Şekerli.

The families of martyrs were not forgotten during the Month of Ramadan either. Iftar programs were organized for the relatives of martyrs by MÜSİAD Aksaray and MÜSİAD Muğla.

The aid campaigns continued with the contributions of Young MÜSİAD. Food aid was provided to those in need in the province of Ağrı at the program jointly organized by Young MÜSİAD and the Ağrı Municipality. At the program held with the theme "Good deeds multiply as they are shared", food parcels were distributed to our brothers and sisters in need by Young MÜSİAD President Y.Furkan Akbal and the members of the Young MÜSİAD Board of Directors.

Our Palestinian brothers and sisters, the bleeding wound of the Islamic World, who continue their lives under Israel's oppression, were not forgotten this year either. Food parcels were distributed in cooperation with the Mirasımız Association in order to help our Muslim brothers and sisters in Jerusalem during this blessed month of Ramadan and to let them feel that we are always by their side. An iftar program was also held in front of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

A MÜSİAD İnegöl iftar program was also held in Azaz, the area cleared of the YPG, the arm of the terrorist organization PKK operating in northern Syria.
