Within the scope of the Eastern Anatolia Business Trip Program covering Muş, Bingöl, Elazığ and Malatya, public institutions, a university, industrial establishments and MÜSİAD organizations were visited and consultations were held on the future of the sector.
The MÜSİAD Agriculture, Food and Livestock Sector Board carried out an intensive visit program in the provinces of Muş, Bingöl, Elazığ and Malatya within the scope of the Eastern Anatolia Business Trip Program. Throughout the program, meetings were held with public institutions, industrial establishments, university management, MÜSİAD organizations and sector representatives; the region's agriculture, food and livestock potential was assessed and cooperation opportunities were discussed.
The first stop of the program was the Muş Sugar Factory. In the meeting held with Factory General Manager Mr. Turgut Kızılkaya, information was received about the activities of the factory and inspections were made at the production facility.
Sector board member Başhan Agro was then visited. Afterwards, a meeting was held with Lale Nuts Board of Directors Chairman Mr. Eşref Çaptuğ, and comprehensive consultations were held on the current state of the sector, production processes and work directed towards the future.
Within the scope of the program, Muş Alparslan University Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican was also visited. In the meeting, the development of university-industry cooperation, joint projects that could be carried out in the field of agriculture and food, and academic contributions to the sector were assessed.
Within the framework of the Eastern Anatolia Business Trip, the Governor of Muş of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Avni Çakır was visited in his office. During the visit, information was given about the activities carried out by MÜSİAD and the Agriculture, Food and Livestock Sector Board, while the sector board members introduced their fields of activity. Views were exchanged on Muş's production capacity in the field of agriculture, food and livestock, its investment potential and projects that could be developed. The visit was completed with the presentation of a certificate to Governor Avni Çakır.
In the continuation of the program, a consultation meeting was held with the participation of the sector board members. At the meeting, regional work, the needs of the sector, production processes and cooperation opportunities were discussed comprehensively.
Within the scope of the Eastern Anatolia contacts, MÜSİAD Bingöl Representative Office President Mr. Tuncer Çılğasıt was visited. Afterwards, in the consultation meeting held with MÜSİAD Elazığ Branch President Mr. Fatih Karakaya and branch members, regional opportunities, the development of the sector and joint areas of work were assessed.
The program was completed with participation in the MÜSİAD 112th General Administrative Board Meeting held in Malatya.
