At the programme organized on 18 June 2026 by the MÜSİAD Construction and Building Materials Sector Board, representatives of the public sector, the private sector, universities, local governments and the sector’s esteemed NGOs came together under the same roof.
In the first part of the programme, the Sector Assembly Meeting was held. At the Sector Assembly, the current agenda of the construction and building materials sector, existing practices, the processes carried out with public institutions and the common issues of the sector’s stakeholders were discussed. Participants shared their assessments regarding the present and the future of the sector from the perspectives of different institutions and organizations.
After the completion of the Sector Assembly Meeting, the programme moved on to the Workshop Programme. At the workshop, which consisted of two sessions, many topics ranging from urban transformation to building safety and from financing models to implementation processes were addressed from the perspective of public–private sector–university–local government–NGO cooperation. In the workshop programme, which was completed in the evening, valuable views, assessments and solution proposals for the needs of the sector were put forward.
The programme, prepared under the coordination of MÜSİAD Construction and Building Materials Sector Board Deputy Chairman Muhammed Salih Çıkman and Sector Board Member Cemre Şalcı, made an important contribution to bringing the sector’s stakeholders together within the framework of collective wisdom.
It is planned that the views and solution proposals raised within the scope of the workshop will be turned into a report and shared with the relevant public institutions and organizations, primarily the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, TOKİ and Emlak Konut.
