The MÜSİAD Machinery Sector Board carried out a series of visits in Ankara with the aim of strengthening communication among the sector's stakeholders and increasing coordination. Within the scope of the programme, the umbrella organizations of the machinery sector, member companies and the MÜSİAD Ankara Branch were visited and consultations were held regarding the coming period.

In the first part of the visit programme, meetings were held with the representatives of the machinery industry at national level. The Sector Board management visited the President of the Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED) Kutlu Karavelioğlu and the President of the Machinery Exporters' Association Sevda Kayhan in their offices. At these courtesy visits, held on the occasion of their new terms of office, good wishes were conveyed and the general situation of the sector was discussed.

Within the programme, MAKFED Secretary General Zühtü Bakır was also visited and views were exchanged on technical work and the activities being carried out.

Close Contact with Member Companies and the Branch

Within the scope of the Ankara programme, time was also devoted to field and branch visits. The company KARBA, which operates within the MÜSİAD Ankara Machinery Sector, was visited and a meeting was held with its Chairman of the Board of Directors Musa Ertunç. At this gathering, held within the framework of member visits, the company's work and the expectations of the sector in the field were evaluated.

The delegation also visited MÜSİAD Ankara Branch President Fatih Bilal Yülek at his office. During the visit, the steps that will increase coordination between the Head Office Sector Board and the Ankara Branch and the work planned at local scale were addressed.

In the joint assessment made after the visits, it was expressed that these contacts, held with the institutions in Ankara and with the branch management, were beneficial in terms of preparing the ground for the joint work to be carried out in the coming period.
