The MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board hosted the delegation of the Anatolian Lions Businessmen Association (ASKON) at the MÜSİAD Head Office.
At the meeting held, the Chairman of the MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board Hayrettin Gümüşkaya and the board members came together with ASKON Deputy Chairman Coşkun Alay, ASKON Textile and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Chairman Ahmet Feridun Altınöz and the accompanying delegation.
In the meeting, which took place in a sincere and productive atmosphere, the current situation of the textile, leather and ready-made clothing sectors, the current problems encountered, global competition conditions and expectations regarding the future of the sector were addressed. In addition, comprehensive consultations were held on the areas of cooperation that could be developed between the two institutions.
At the meeting, while emphasis was placed on the importance of the sector's sustainable growth, the increase of production capacity, the strengthening of exports and the development of joint projects, the contributions that increasing solidarity and cooperation among the sector's stakeholders would provide were evaluated.
The MÜSİAD and ASKON delegations completed the meeting by reaching a consensus on the implementation of joint work that will contribute to the development of the sector in the period ahead.
