Within the scope of the program held between 13 and 19 May, diplomatic contacts, official visits and tourism fair inspections were carried out.
Within the framework of the program, a courtesy visit was paid to Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Mücahit Küçükyılmaz, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Algeria. In the meeting held, Algeria's economic structure, tourism sector, investment opportunities and the commercial relations between Türkiye and Algeria were addressed. Mutual consultations were held on the economic and commercial cooperation opportunities between the two countries.
In the visit paid to Mr. Youcef Bechlaoui, Governor of Algeria's Tlemcen Province, the region's economic structure, tourism potential and local cooperation opportunities were evaluated. In the meeting, views were exchanged on developing mutual relations.
Within the scope of the program, the delegation also attended as a visitor SITEV (International Tourism and Travel Fair), one of Algeria's largest international tourism events. During the fair, various meetings were held with sector representatives, while the region's tourism dynamics and sectoral developments were examined on site.
With the business trip program that was carried out, important contacts were established regarding Algeria's tourism and economic structure, while assessments were made that will contribute to the development of commercial and sectoral cooperation between the two countries.
