The MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board Region 2 Introduction and Consultation Meeting was held under the hosting of the MÜSİAD Denizli Branch.
The programme began with the visit of Chairman of the Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board Hayrettin Gümüşkaya and the accompanying delegation to the Denizli Technical Textile Centre (DTTM). Touring the centre, the MÜSİAD members received information about the centre and carried out examinations.
In the continuation of the programme, a regional meeting was held with the members of the Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector at the MÜSİAD Denizli Branch. Speaking at the programme, Chairman of the MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board Hayrettin Gümüşkaya emphasized that change and transformation are inevitable in order to survive in the global competitive environment. Gümüşkaya expressed that turning towards digitalization, sustainable production and value-added products in particular is of critical importance for the sector.
At the meeting, which drew intense interest from sector representatives, increasing regional cooperation, developing exports and the current problems faced by companies were addressed. The participants shared their views and suggestions and exchanged ideas regarding the future of the sector.
MÜSİAD Denizli Branch President Engin Boyacı, for his part, drew attention to Denizli's strong infrastructure in the field of textiles and ready-made clothing and stated that such meetings make an important contribution to the development of the sector.
The meeting came to an end with a commemorative photograph shoot following the mutual assessments.
