NGOs have functions capable of ensuring national and social development by using the advantages they possess for the local and regional development of the areas in which they operate. As the world's most widespread and effective NGO and a strong capital platform, we too are aware of our responsibility. As MÜSİAD, with the strength we draw from our organizational network, we are ready to carry out the duty that falls to us in this regard from now on, just as we have done to date.”

The Turkish Health Sector Is in a Position to Compete with the World

MÜSİAD Health Sector Board Chairman Levent Can, for his part, stated the following in his speech:

“Türkiye now holds an important position in its region in the field of health. When we look at the last 15 years, we observe an increase in the number of people coming to our country for treatment, largely from neighbouring countries and from many different regions. Along with providing a substantial inflow of foreign currency to the country, health tourism is also extremely beneficial in terms of the development of the sector. The Turkish health sector, both with health tourism and with the medical products it manufactures, is now at a point where it can compete with the world. In return, patients are able to complete their treatment at considerably lower costs compared with many European countries and America. In terms of medical devices and surgical instruments, it offers the same quality as Europe at a more affordable price. This is one of the most important reasons why our country is preferred in health.”

The program ended following the presentation of plaques and gifts.
