A Paris Business Trip Programme was organized in cooperation between the Turkish National Agency and Young MÜSİAD. Within the framework of the event, the Young MÜSİAD delegation, which visited Paris, the capital of France, held contacts on areas of bilateral cooperation and on the development of Türkiye-France commercial relations.

The Paris Business Trip Programme, organized between 22-25 June 2022 in cooperation with the Turkish National Agency and Young MÜSİAD, was attended by Young MÜSİAD members with high export figures and by Young MÜSİAD branches that had shown success as a result of the annual Young MÜSİAD evaluations. During the visits, talks aimed at developing the trade volume between Türkiye and France and new business opportunities were discussed.

In the first part of the visit programme, the delegation met with Türkiye’s Ambassador to Paris Rıfat Ali Onaner, Türkiye’s Permanent Representative to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Prof. Dr. Kerem Alkin and Paris Commercial Attaché Gonca Köksal Ensari, and held consultations on investment opportunities in France, the steps that need to be taken to increase exports between Türkiye and France, Turkish-French relations, city presentations and the possible areas of cooperation between the OECD and MÜSİAD. 

Within the framework of the programme, the Young MÜSİAD delegation also visited Gide Loyrette Nouel, one of the world’s most important law firms, known for the work it carries out in the international arena. The Young MÜSİAD delegation held talks with Gide Loyrette Nouel officials on international trade law and on the difficulties arising from the differences in commercial law between countries.

On the third day of the programme, the WAI Start-up Center office of BNP Paribas bank, which aims to bring together the entrepreneurship and investment ecosystem, was visited. At the meeting held, the incentives granted to entrepreneurs coming from Türkiye to open an office were examined comprehensively within the framework of the opportunities granted to the start-ups within the institution.

In addition, within the scope of the Paris Business Trip Programme, 3T (Tanı, Tanıştır, Ticaret Yap) Global, one of Young MÜSİAD’s important brands, organized with the aim of strengthening trade among members, was held with the participation of members of the Germany, Algeria and France branches. 

On the last day of the programme, companies that are members of Young MÜSİAD were visited and an exchange of ideas was held on business and commercial life in the region.
