The “Voice of Women in the Economy Program”, implemented by the MÜSİAD Women Entrepreneurs Support Commission, was successfully completed as a comprehensive gathering at which important messages aimed at strengthening women’s effectiveness in economic life were shared.
The program, organized by the MÜSİAD Women Entrepreneurs Support Commission, was held at the MÜSİAD Head Office on Monday, 4 May 2026, with the intense participation of representatives of the public sector, the business world and civil society. Within the scope of the program, the strategic importance for economic development of women taking part more strongly in the fields of production, entrepreneurship, technology and governance was emphasized.
In the program, held with the aim of supporting women’s entrepreneurship, increasing women’s visibility in decision-making mechanisms and strengthening public-private sector cooperation, the topics of women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, governance and sustainable development were addressed from a multidimensional perspective in the panel session organized with the participation of names competent in their fields.
The panel session held within the scope of the program featured Republic of Türkiye Deputy Minister of the Interior Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kübra Güran Yiğitbaşı, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the T3 Foundation Dr. Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Demsa Group Demet Sabancı Çetindoğan and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Gürmen Group Yasemin Gür Solmaz. At the panel, important assessments were shared on the role of women in economic transformation processes, sustainable success models in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, technology-focused transformation and the understanding of inclusive development.
Throughout the program, while participants found the opportunity to listen to current perspectives along the axis of governance, sustainable development, technology, production and entrepreneurship, a contribution was also made to the development of communication and cooperation networks among representatives from different sectors. In addition, solution-oriented proposals, good practice examples and inspiring experiences aimed at women assuming a more effective role in the business world were shared with the participants.
The program carried out by the MÜSİAD Women Entrepreneurs Support Commission was evaluated not only as a strong platform drawing attention to the role of women in economic and social development, but also as an important step towards developing a culture of sustainable cooperation among the public sector, the private sector and civil society.
