A 2-day Working Camp Programme was organized by the International Organization Commission of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) at Hilton Mall Off İstanbul.
At the working camp organized by the Chairman of the MÜSİAD International Organization Commission (YTK) Selim Sar and the Commission Board Members, the calendar work of the programmes and events planned for 2024 was carried out. As of December, MÜSİAD continues its work abroad with 32 branches, 10 representative offices and 47 representatives, and with 89 contact points in 76 countries. With more than two thousand international members, it carries out work to develop both Türkiye's trade and the trade of the countries where they are located with Türkiye.
The YTK Working Camp was held in İstanbul in order to consolidate this work. At the meeting, 2023 was evaluated and new targets for 2024 were planned and approved. Consultations were held on the situation in the international membership table. The 2024 YTK Calendar was created in line with the MÜSİAD 2023-2025 Strategic Targets. Regional Executive Boards Round Table Meetings were held. The Africa, America, Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, Europe, Balkans and MENA Regional Executive Boards came together at the Round Table Meetings with the common agenda of the YTK 2024 Targets, Calendar Work and Strategic Planning.
The continuation of the Working Camp was attended by MÜSİAD Vice President Mr. Davut Altunbaş, Member of the Board of Directors Mr. Ünsal Sözbir, Chairman of the Export Development Commission Mr. Abdullah Bozatlı, Chairman of the Qard al-Hasan Fund Mr. Muhammed Ali Özeken and MÜSİAD INVEST President Mr. Serhat Kısakürek.
MÜSİAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş, who spoke at the Working Camp, expressed his views on the opportunities and threats awaiting Turkish businessmen in the future, with the projection he reflected from the global scale onto Türkiye. Our other Member of the Board of Directors Ünsal Sözbir, who took the floor at the working camp, for his part, made an assessment through the satisfaction survey conducted among our MÜSİAD members between 2022 and 2023, and the commission's activities were evaluated in terms of our Strategic Targets.
The Chairman of the Export Development Commission Abdullah Bozatlı and the Chairman of the MÜSİAD Qard al-Hasan Fund Muhammed Ali Özeken, who spoke within the scope of the working camp programme, noted the following in their speeches;
The Chairman of the Export Development Commission Abdullah Bozatlı described the activities planned by the Export Development Commission and exchanged ideas regarding the work to be carried out jointly with the International Organization Commission. The Chairman of the MÜSİAD Qard al-Hasan Fund Muhammed Ali Özeken, for his part, made an assessment of the work of MÜSİAD Qard al-Hasan, and an effort was carried out to gain new members from among those present at the meeting.
Finally, MÜSİAD Invest President Serhat Kısakürek, in his presentation;
described the activities of MÜSİAD INVEST and the planned programmes, and afterwards a family photograph was taken and the meeting was concluded.
