The MÜSİAD Tourism Sector Board held its 1st Region Introductory and Consultation Meeting in Bursa. The meeting began with the opening speeches of Chairman of the Tourism Sector Board Murat Kundak and MÜSİAD Bursa Branch President Alparslan Şenocak. While the event took place at Bursa Extrem Park, it was organized hosted by Bursa Tourism Sector Board Chairman Ümit Gürel. Gürel expressed his pleasure at hosting the MÜSİAD family in Bursa.
Mayor of Yıldırım Oktay Yılmaz, Bursa Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Dr. Kamil Özer, TÜRSAB South Marmara Chairman Murat Saraçoğlu and Chairman of the Chamber of Tourist Guides Tansu Erçevik also attended the meeting. The speakers shared their views on Bursa's tourism potential, the problems encountered in the sector and what needs to be done for the city to gain a new vision.
After the protocol speeches, the participants introduced themselves and shared their work in the sector. Chairman of the Tourism Sector Board Murat Kundak presented the Tourism Sector Board Report, conveying the activities carried out by the board. At the closing of the meeting, the steps that need to be taken for Bursa to become a destination centre were discussed.
At the end of the programme, thank-you gifts were presented to MÜSİAD Bursa Branch President Alparslan Şenocak and Bursa Tourism Sector Board Chairman Ümit Gürel.
