The MÜSİAD Machinery Sector Board management paid a visit to the MÜSİAD Gebze Branch.
Within the scope of the visit, Gebze Branch President Serkan BEYAZ thanked the Machinery Sector Board management for being their guests. The meeting began with an introductory speech by Branch President Serkan BEYAZ. Machinery Sector Board Chairman İsmail SOMALI introduced himself, and the meeting continued with the members introducing themselves.
İsmail SOMALI provided information about the Head Office Machinery Sector Board. Information was given about the Sector Board's activities and meetings. Consultations were held on the programmes to be carried out with the branch. The presence of around 10 organized industrial zones (OIZs) in the Gebze region and the fact that machinery manufacturers are predominant there are of great importance.
It represents the strength of 50 MÜSİAD member companies in this region. Discussions were held on the causes of the intermediate staff and technical personnel problems in the market and on what kinds of measures could be taken. Vocational and technical high schools should become more widespread and occupational branches should be diversified so that qualified personnel are trained. Planning the models applied by the countries of the world in the field of education according to our own country, and introducing a new model through correct analysis, are important for the future.
It was decided to plan a Regional Consultation Meeting to be held with the MÜSİAD Head Office Machinery Sector Board and the Gebze Branch.
