The Head Office of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MÜSİAD) hosted the representatives of Italy's leading professional and business world organizations. The visit was evaluated as an important step towards strengthening the economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Italy.

The meeting, hosted by MÜSİAD Vice President Selim Başdemir, was attended by Confprofessioni President Marco Natali, APRI International Vice President Alessandro Cianfrone, the Vice Presidents of CIIM EurAsiaMed, MÜSİAD Italy President Gökhan Eller and members of the MÜSİAD Board of Directors.

At the meeting, the current activities of Turkish business people in Italy, their future targets and the opportunities for cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the commercial targets set out by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were discussed.

The parties agreed on taking concrete steps to develop strategic cooperation between MÜSİAD and Italian institutions, to strengthen institutionalization in Türkiye-Italy trade and to increase mutual investments.

MÜSİAD officials pointed out that the meeting will be an important bridge for carrying the economic relations between Türkiye and Italy even further.
