VISIT TO THE TRABZON, GİRESUN AND ORDU BRANCHES FROM THE TEXTILE, LEATHER AND READY-MADE CLOTHING SECTOR BOARD

Fatih Canpolat, Chairman of the MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board, and the accompanying delegation organized a visit to the Trabzon, Giresun and Ordu branches on 28 December 2023. Holding meetings with branch members on the subject of “Developing Trade and Cooperation”, Chairman Fatih Canpolat and the accompanying delegation visited the members of the Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing sector at the branches after the meetings.

Fatih Canpolat, Chairman of the MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board, and the accompanying delegation paid a visit to the MÜSİAD Trabzon Branch in the first leg of the programme. Holding consultations with Trabzon Branch President Mesut İskenderoğlu during the visit, the delegation talked with the Trabzon members about the problems of the sector and proposed solutions.

Following the programme, corporate visits were paid to Saka Textile, the company of Celal Çağatay Saka, one of the MÜSİAD Trabzon Branch members, and to the Çarşıbaşı Keşan Hand Weaving workshop, a local enterprise where woven products are produced with the Keşan Fabric, one of the symbols of the Black Sea region.

In the second leg of the programme, Fatih Canpolat, Chairman of the MÜSİAD Textile, Leather and Ready-Made Clothing Sector Board, and the accompanying delegation came together with MÜSİAD Giresun Representative Cumhur Melikoğlu and MÜSİAD Giresun members and held consultations. Holding consultations on the situation of the textile sector in Giresun, the delegation talked about sectoral problems and proposed solutions. In the continuation of the programme, a member visit was paid to GİTEKS, one of the MÜSİAD member companies.

In the third leg of the programme, a visit was paid to the MÜSİAD Ordu Branch. During the visit, an introductory and consultation meeting was held by coming together with MÜSİAD Ordu Branch President Servet Altaş and branch members. Consultations were held on developing trade and cooperation and sectoral problems and proposed solutions were discussed. The programme came to an end after the visit paid to the MÜSİAD Ordu Branch.
