Our Core Human Resources Principles

Our Human Resources Unit, which regards the human being not as a resource but as a value and a worth, represents a people-oriented understanding. In this respect our priority rests on the principle of understanding people and their expectations. The fundamental aim of our unit is to respond to the economic and social expectations of employees and to provide our employees with a safe working environment.

  • Our Human Resources recruitment and placement policy is founded on the principle of “merit and competence”.
  • Rather than defining a job according to the existing human resources balance, employees are selected according to the requirements of the job and competence analyses.
  • In addition to an employee’s seniority within the institution, seniority gained outside the institution is also taken into account.
  • In recruitment and placement, along with the educational background of the employee/candidate, their interests and skills relating to the defined tasks are also considered.
  • Continuous development is essential in order to adapt to changing conditions and to sustain the institution’s successful course. The knowledge and motivation of our employees and their ability to work in a spirit of teamwork form the cornerstones of our success. We regard our employees as our most important asset, one that must be developed in parallel with the continuous development of our institution.
  • Our institution applies a performance evaluation system designed for effective and objective assessment, in which goals, business results and individual competencies are addressed together. This system enables managers and employees to share their mutual expectations and allows concrete, measurable criteria to be used in performance evaluation.
  • Without forgetting that every task and duty belongs to MÜSİAD, a new definition of relations and communication between units is established and competent working is thereby ensured.
