MISSION AND VISION
As one of Türkiye’s most widespread business organizations, MÜSİAD has prepared its vision document with an approach aimed at ensuring the fair and sustainable development of Türkiye amid the dynamics of a changing world that place pressure on countries and institutions.
With more than 14,000 members representing over 60,000 enterprises, 78 domestic and 100 international branches and representative offices, and close to 3 million people employed, MÜSİAD is well aware of its potential strength and of the impact it can create across the country.
MÜSİAD has prepared this vision document guided by its vision of “becoming a pioneering and accredited business people’s platform that represents Türkiye on a global scale through a business culture based on production, entrepreneurship and values, and that works towards fair and sustainable development and social welfare”.
This document is a road map setting out MÜSİAD’s strategic goals and priorities for the 2025–2027 period.
In order to strengthen its institutional capacity at the local and global level, to enhance the productivity and competitiveness of its members, and to deepen its contribution to society through a fair and sustainable understanding of development, MÜSİAD has developed a strategic framework under seven main headings.
These are:
- Contributing to the development of a growth model that is fair and sustainable and that prioritizes employment and growth.
- Supporting the reduction of income and wealth inequality through employment-oriented programmes that strengthen social cohesion.
- Contributing to increasing the productivity and competitiveness of priority sectors in line with the twin transition goals.
- Encouraging the development of alternative financing models that bring idle resources into production.
- Developing the trade capacity of members and increasing their access to new business opportunities.
- Disseminating MÜSİAD’s values throughout economic and social life in line with the principle of “Virtuous Life”.
- Building a stronger, more effective and more inclusive MÜSİAD.
MÜSİAD’s Fair and Sustainable Development Model reflects an approach to development that prioritizes not only economic growth but also the quality and inclusiveness of that growth and its transformation into social benefit on the basis of justice. While our approach considers social cohesion alongside Türkiye’s economic development, it also aims to ensure that social justice advances together with economic growth by placing equality of income and opportunity at its centre.
