RESEARCH REPORTS WHAT IS IT?
Since its foundation, MÜSİAD has not confined its activities to the routine work of a business representative organisation; it has also regarded contributing to Türkiye's economic and social development as one of its fundamental responsibilities. In line with this understanding, it has counted identifying the problems our country faces, developing proposed solutions to them and sharing these with the public among its priority duties.
Within this scope, the reports published each year address economic and social matters in their various dimensions, and have become important reference sources bringing academia and the economy, and the business world and the public bureaucracy, onto common ground. These studies carry particular value not only for analysing existing problems and offering proposed solutions, but also for building a strong bridge between theoretical knowledge and field experience.
Prepared with a focus on a different theme each period, the Türkiye Economy Reports set out, with concrete data and applicable policy proposals, the steps that need to be taken for our country to reach its economic targets and strengthen its sustainable development. In this respect the reports rank among the significant research studies making qualified contributions to the economic literature.
Prepared with the contributions of Türkiye's leading academics, experts and sector representatives, our reports assess economic developments from a comprehensive perspective, offer paths to overcoming the difficulties encountered, and serve as a guiding resource for decision-makers.
The rapid transformations in the global economy today, together with technological developments, digitalisation, new sustainability-focused approaches and changing trade dynamics, make it imperative for countries to reshape their economic policies. As one of the important actors in this process of transformation, Türkiye continues to pursue its goal of securing a stronger place in global competition through its production capacity, young population, entrepreneurial potential and strategic location. Making proper use of existing opportunities and effectively managing the risks encountered are of great importance in reaching this goal.
